I love my albums! And they are super popular with my senior parents! I use my graphic design background to create a custom layout for every album. My 9x12 Lustre Art Album features photos on the front and back and includes 20ish photos printed on thick pages in a beautiful lustre finish. My 10x10 Fine Art Album has a window image on the cover, thick layflat pages and 15-20 photos printed with a deep matte finish. My Metallic Fine Art Album is also 10x10 inches, features an image printed on metal on the cover, and metallic finish pages inside. It includes 15-20 photos. Have a favorite quote? Add it to any album! All albums are heirloom, archival pieces you will treasure forever. Your story, beautifully told!

Someone asked me why I specialize in senior portraiture–after all, there are a lot of photographers who photograph a little bit of everything, from weddings to families to maternity to seniors. Why don’t I do that? The truth is, I do photograph families and children–but the bulk of my work is with seniors and for one very important reason... I truly enjoy teenagers! Photographing high school seniors is a natural extension of my role as a high school track and cross country coach. I have the privilege of seeing firsthand how monumental and full of milestones this time in their lives is. Teenagers are in a unique phase where they are discovering who they are, what they believe in, and how they view the world. Being part of their journey as a coach allows me to witness their growth, resilience, and open honesty. It’s incredibly rewarding to capture these qualities in my photography, preserving these fleeting moments as they transition from adolescence to adulthood. As a photographer, I am inspired by the way seniors approach their futures with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. Their candid expressions and genuine interactions make for authentic and memorable portraits. I love highlighting their individuality and the changes they experience from freshman year to senior year. Each session is an opportunity to celebrate their achievements, dreams, and unique perspectives. My goal is to create a visual narrative that reflects their personalities and the significant milestones on which they have embarked. If you or someone you know has a Class of 2025 senior and is ready to capture this special time, contact me today to book a session–together we will capture memories, embrace moments and celebrate milestones! For both boys and girls, comfort is paramount—wear something that makes you feel confident and at ease. For girls, consider classic options like a favorite dress, a cute shirt paired with jeans, or a trendy jumpsuit. Accessories can add a personal touch, but keep them simple to avoid distractions. Boys can opt for a well-fitted shirt with jeans or chinos, or a casual blazer for a polished look. Solid colors or subtle patterns work best to keep the focus on you. Remember, the goal is to showcase your personality, so select outfits that reflect who you are! Also, choose a variety of outfits. It's a good idea to include both casual clothing and a more formal outfit (if you ever dress up) in your senior portraits. You choose one and let Mom choose one--that way everyone is happy! Are you in sports, band or other activities/clubs or have some special interests? Don’t forget to include your uniform or clothing you might wear while pursuing your special interests! Most importantly, choose things you are comfortable wearing–you want to be authentically you and comfortable in your portraits. Want to know more about what to wear? Forget something for your session? No worries--I've got you covered! Let's face it--there are a lot of portrait photographers out there! One way I stand out is by prioritizing not just exceptional photography, but also providing a thoughtful and comprehensive client experience. I understand that small details can make a big difference, which is why I meticulously prepare for every session with a kit that includes essentials like a Tide stick for last-minute stains, Hollywood tape for wardrobe adjustments, a lint roller, and even Q-tips for makeup touch-ups. This attention to detail ensures that you feel confident and cared for throughout your session, allowing you to relax and truly shine in front of the camera. I’m not just capturing images–I’m creating a comfortable and supportive environment where every detail is considered. From oil blotting sheets to hair ties and frizz tamer, I anticipate and address potential concerns before they arise! I want to enhance your photography experience while ensuring that your senior portrait session is not only memorable but also stress-free and enjoyable. It’s not just a portrait session–it’s an experience! Join me! Choosing a great location is one of the most important pieces of setting your senior session. The backdrops you select will set the stage for the entire session and will be an essential piece of every shot, pose and, ultimately, the finished product. I recommend picking a spot that’s special to you, either a spot you love, somewhere you frequent or a place that best represents you. If you play sports, some images on the field/track/court are a great place to start! After you've narrowed down the list, it's important to think about some key logistics: are there restrooms? Is the distance from the parking lot to the actual shoot location far? If so, pack comfy shoes for everyone! Will there be places to change outfits, retouch hair and makeup and relax between shots? I do bring a changing tent for clothing changes but you may want to bring a mirror to check hair and/or makeup. Also, think about the popularity of the location you are choosing--will there be crowds nearby, and, if so, are you comfortable shooting in front of others? I've seen amazing sessions everywhere from backyards to baseball fields, lakes to open meadows. If you are really at a loss for locations, no worries! I do know the southeastern Wisconsin area quite well and can help make recommendations based on your unique needs, personality and inspiration. Have other questions about senior portrait sessions?
